My Rating
I love this series! Each book gets better and better. Every plotline is fresh and exciting. Filled with ghosts, demons, murders and other unexplainable phenomenon, every book so far in this series surpassed the previous one.
With a cast of zany characters, Ms Charles weaves a story that perfectly plays off the previous book’s plot.
Violet spends the book trying to avoid riling Detective Cooper and stay out of jail, track down a client to complete a real estate sale, raise her twins, reconcile with her best friend and further a relationship with Doc. Violet is a busy, busy modern woman.
Loveable characters from previous books help propel the story lines forward – Everyone needs an “Old Man Harvey” in their life- and the reader gets more of the backstory regarding Violet’s sister and family dynamic as well as her Aunt Zoe’s love life.
A terrific installment of the Deadwood series.
